As the owners of the building, North Northamptonshire Council had a duty to ensure that this vital part of Kettering’s history survived for years to come.
With this in mind, in 2023, Councillors approved the funds to replace the roof with the money for the project being added to the council’s capital works plan.
Given this approval process - the money must be spent on replacing the roof and for no other purpose. But should the project come under budget, funds will be redistributed to other projects on the capital works plan.
The Cornerstone Team is currently developing a new Gallery Business Plan, which will encompass our overall programming, commercial offerings, events, food and beverage options, and space hire opportunities. This comprehensive plan will be available on our website soon. In the meantime, you can access our current service Business Plan here.
