As the Library’s Summer Reading Challenge continues, the team from Alfred East Gallery are exploring music in art for this family workshop.

We’re getting arty in the Library! Bring your favourite songs or poems to life, with painting, creative writing, collage, or illustration. Create a layered mixed media lyric poster or mini music journal.

Recommended for ages 8 and above.

All materials provided but feel free to bring your own.

For this workshop, we’re inspired by Ian Luck’s “Past Pleasures” (Mixed media, 2012) from the Gallery’s collection.
